On January 17, 2004, 25 Golden/Flat-Coated Retrievers were entered in the Greater Houston Golden Retriever Club WC/WCX Tests. Laura and Don's own D-Bar-L Ranch was honored to host this exciting event. Despite heavy rainfall the previous night, the competition was keen on test day.

Through the generosity of photographer David Bjorn, 68 vivid scenes from this memorable event were captured and are displayed with his permission below with scenes contributed by others.
